Online Shop For Deluxe Bathrooms

The Challenge

Deluxe Bathrooms & Tiling Solutions has a huge variety of bathroom and tiling products. These types of products because of the sheer amount of size, colour and material variations pose a significant challenge when it comes to organising the product data. The approach taken was to start organising the products by brand and then use subcategories for baths, showers, vanity units, toilets etc. Even within each product range there were many variations to consider. Like any ecommerce website on this scale, the website will continuously evolve as new ranges and new products become available.

What We Did

We discussed the project with the client and decided on a suitable design for Deluxe Bathrooms & Tiling Solutions. Then we considered which eCommerce platform would best serve the business, in this case we agreed that the Shopify Platform would be the most suitable. A huge advantage of using Shopify in this case was the fact that the website servers and code/security updates are handled by Shopify servers, thus reducing maintenance costs that would be associated with Magento or Wordpress. The Shopify platform also has a lot of built-in marketing tools to enable Deluxe Bathrooms & Tiling Solutions to be able to share special offers via social channels. The website is also fully integrated with the Deluxe Bathrooms Facebook Shop where products can be bought directly.

What We Achieved

Deluxe Bathrooms & Tiling Solutions is a modern and responsive eCommerce website that looks great on mobile, tablet and desktop devices. The website has a full Content Management System (CMS) built in that enables the client to instantly make amendments on the website. Since its launch in May 2020, the client has seen a huge increase in traffic to the website and is constantly adding new products all the time. The new website provides users with a slick modern interface to make it easy for customers to search and find top quality bathroom and tiling products.
